I am going through a similar situation and am desperately seeking assitance. My husband worked for a printing company as the computer manager. His boss (owner of co) approached him 2 years ago to do web pages for companies on the side. For doing these pages he would pay my husband through credit(refunds) on our credit cards. We didn't think anything of it, only that the IRS might not like it since we weren't claiming it as income. Anyway, about a month ago his boss called him in his office and told my husband that he could send him to jail for embezzlement. He then presented a print out of all of the credits going to our credit cards, which equaled around 13k over a two year period. My husband was really confused. Basically his boss said he wants his resognation and we have to pay him 13k within 6 weeks or he is calling the cops and my husband will go to jail. We are so lost, because we don't have 13k to give him. We have called around for help, but most people haven't heard of this scenerio before. You atleast have a paper trail. We have no evidence to support our claim. It really does look like my husband was embezzling the money. Any advice you have would really help. Your message is the only thing I have found on the internet even close to what we are going through.
