Subject: Hello, I'm new here :)

Hi,

First of all I want to thank everyone for the very warm welcome!! I can't tell you how sweet that was, to receive all the welcome greetings from everyone.

I'd also like to introduce myself. After several traumatic events and an extremely tumultuous upbringing, I developed an anxiety disorder over ten years ago. I was almost completely recovered when I had a relapse early last year which caused me to develop severe agoraphobia and to be almost housebound. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what agoraphobia is, it's the fear of public places or of going too far from home. Many people are housebound for years, it can be a very debilitating condition. Well, I'm getting better with lots of support around me. I'm very grateful for the strength that I seemed to have mustered up inside to deal with this thing, and for those around me who help and support me on my road to recovery. I recently put up a web site which I hope will become a real support system for others who suffer from anxiety.

Well, thanks again for welcoming me here. This seems like a very comforting place. :)
