Author: S'mer, V'ken and Tezarth, Kirby and Kamanth
Subject: +Continuing Lesson 4+

+S'mer placed S'las on a nearby bench, walking a short distance from him before motioning the group over.+
"Alright, that shouldn't discourage anyone. Accidents can happen, but believe me, it's well worth the risk. V'ken, you're next I believe."

((I'm doing all my chars at once.))

+The male nodded, emotionless facade remaining present on his features. He mounted the bronze again, giving a wistful smile to Kirby before the pair turned, facing away from S'las and the weyrlingmaster. The bronze crouched, waiting for the mental signal. As if on cue he sprang, flaring the bronze pinions and giving the downbeat. After another strong flap he gained a headwind and circled, going higher with each circle that he made. V'ken held his breath, emotionless from the outside+
%Holy shards!%
I was unaware shards had holes
%Nevermind, we're flying!%
Yeah, I've noticed
%We should land%
As you wish
%Not my wish Tez, the weyrlingmaster's%

+The bronze angled down sharply, surprising the male. Holding on he watched the ground race towards him until he saw S'las's accident flash in his eyes. Tezarth pulled up and flared, landing somewhat off balance. He jolted V'ken and the rider grimaced, not saying anything although S'vedin started cracking up with Kirby, the siblings watching their brother. V'ken straightened up and Tezarth turned, watching the weyrlingmaster who stood there, grinning as well.+

"I suggest I better, less painful landing next time, but very good. Kirby"

+The femme grinned and turned Kamanth around, her hand motions and gentle tongue clicking irrevelent, simply a habit from riding runners. She grinned as Kamanth lept from her squat, rising with a thermal after the downbeat. The pair circled and Kirby started laughing from her elation, the thrill somewhat akin to caffeine. Exchanging a short converstaion, Kamanth bugled and dove, pulling a barrel roll before righting herself and landing easily, skidding to a halt without jolting Kirby.+

"Try not to skid, Kamanth could rip a claw. You're skilled in staying in a saddle. Have you trained runners."
"No sir, but we've encountered them many times and I have been able to ride since I was five."
"Very good. S'vedin."

((Have to do him later, almost classtime))
