"Korbin?"
"Don't you two start that again."
+Edi chided his siblings, running slender fingers through bright red hair.+
"I've never played an instrument. You'll have to teach me sometime."
+Kirby and Aken both gave a snort and Edi glared at them as they put on innocent faces and leaned against a wall. Kirby laughed+
"Yeah, we know our father, but he's probably dead by now. Our mother died when we were born, so we never knew her."
"She had red hair and brown eyes and was kind of short for her age like kirby and she could sing pretty well and-"
"Yes Edi, we know, you told us."
+Once again Kirby sighed and pushed herself away from the wall, going into her explanation of their past.+
"Our mom died a few weeks after we were born. Edi here could probably be a harper, our dad just never went there and tried to get him in classes due to our severe lack of money. Of course I'm explaining things out of order. Our mother died and our father made sure we had food and clothes for nine Turns, but little else. Edi has an extremely good memory, it gets kind of scary. He remembers how our mother looked when he was a week old."
"She had a limp too, from a Threadscore on her right leg."
"We get it Edi. When we were nine Turns old. Our father left for some place unknown to us. The cothold probably didn't last through Threadfall, but we were long gone by then. We've pretty much just wandered around holdless for seven Turns, working when we need to. It sounds pretty easy, but it's not. We were Searched after a Threadfall and brought here, and that's about it, really."
+Kirby went silent, wondering if she had really talked too much. She was apt to do that, but oh well.+
