<3 The patched mare takes off after the filly at the same moment as Thunder. She dashes in front of him to wiggle through the narrow exit. Sighting the filly, she transitions from a steady three-beat to a dizzyingly fast one-beat gallop. It is also exceedingly dangerous, given the soft sand beneath her hooves. She comes even with the younger female, then passes her. Swerving in front of Crystal, she slides to a halt. Hopefully the filly will stop, rather than plowing into Strike's flanks. The mare braces herself, preparing for a jolt from the filly that is now running perpendicular to herself. <3
