She was on a roll. Despite her prolonged captivity and melancholy over life incidents that couldn't be erased, Tori had flung herself wholeheartedly back into the swing of things. First things first, resume her back-up duties and friendship with Euphoria. Secondly, greet new horses and acclimate them to their new home. Her first priority had been accomplished and she was well on her way to checking off number two when her jaded orbs landed on the bronzed stallion with the hauntingly familiar brown eyes. Tilting her head, she moved forward hesitantly, feeling the strongest surge of déjà vu that she had ever experienced. She knew those eyes, but from where? Flipping her bleached forelock back, she urged her legs into a smooth trot, long strides eating up the distance. Pulling to a halt before the black-haired stallion, she could refrain from staring. Those eyes. Who was it? It had to be someone she knew, but how do you introduce yourself to someone you could swear you already know? It was rude and extremely out of character, but the gilded dame stood silently and watched, her mind churning, trying to fit the pieces together.
