Can someone tell me how you would sew around an applique on an outfit? I use the iron on applique but I would like to sew around them to make them stay better - do I use a quilting foot or regular - and zigzag?

i think it is a personal decision i like zig-zag stitch with regular foot but i havent played with the fre hand foot a lot either, check out ehow?.com i think google it yoy should find a lot of video tuts
