I am attempting my first cupcake skirt with organza, and know that with chiffon it has to be hung befor and after it's hemmed, Do I hang up the organza the same as I would if I were using chiffon?

I hung mine when I made my first skirt and it did make a difference. I know so people say no, but with the amount of fabric and the weight I wanted to be safe rather than sorry and I am glad I did

Ok after I hang it, then put in the fishing line hem, then hang it again.... If it needs to be evened out and trimmed, Do I trim the waist line?

I construct the skirt with the fishingline ruffle. Then I hang it. After 24 hours I trim the organza so that it is even with the under ruffle. after that I do the fishing line hem. You should not have to trim the waistline.
