He could have easily mistook his song for simply being a mirror reflected himself- and it would be smashed too for Dire had fallen into state of great depression and could no longer stand the sight of himself. But the soul had something he lacked, some sort of happiness. Maybe there wasn�t much but the brute looked much better then his starving father, who�s coat was long matted and uncared for.
