Breeding Profile

Monnington Overture is by the great Morgan Tarryall Gene Theiry (better known as Maestro). During his lifetime Maestro inspired hundreds of people with his magical presence and gentle temperament. He loved to show and adored applause - throughout his showing career he took 16 Supreme Performance / In Hand Championships. His off-spring include Monnington Anthem, Monnington Conductor, Monnington Flute, Monnington Forte, Monnington Regent, & Holker Phineas Finn, all of whom have won countless Championships In Hand, Under Saddle and In Harness. He also sired Monnington Gershwin and Solstice Firedance both of whom went on to take the gold at the European FEI Championships.

His Dam Saddleback Symmetry has been one of the top brood mares in this country for the past 15 years. Imported from the USA as a weanling she carries the genes of some of the most successful Morgans in the state, going back to solid Government breeding in every line. After a successful showing career she went on to produce Champion after Champion including Monnington Herrick, Monnington Regent and Monnington Kudos to name just a few. All of the above have excelled in the show ring.
