[Coming over the crest of the hill, a dark haired figure comes into view. Seeing a battle, he comes closer, undaunted. A small flick of light is reflected off something from his shoulder..then nothing. He stands, faint golden orbs going from the Zair to Coal to the other creatures, then shifting to their trainers. Seeing the Kev and the girl standing side-by-side, he decides that they are both defending against Clair, who, by the fresh trail left behind her, had recently come and began the offensive. He knew nothing of the Rain Terrors, or he didn't care, for a small, swift shape came out of the tall grass behind the water-elemental mare [?] and hovered behind its neck. The small Kawabutsu slashed once at the horse's neck before slightly curling its tail back and once again darting 'way into the tall grass and out of sight, where it flew with surprising speed amongst the reeds without disturbing them noticably. A ripple in the grass speeds towards Coal and split off to either side, where two Kawabutsu, a cactus like one, and a Dumargo emerge in a rush. Ruutsu slams bodily into Coal from the left, and Marth leaps out with a Shadow Claw as Ruutsu follows through a bit before sliding easily through the soil back into the security of the tall reeds. Bow looks to Kev and de'Wilca, hoping that they'll not turn their attacks to his own companions.]
