The sand rises a bit under him, and moves swiftly away causing Coal to loose his footing. The mound turns in the sand and heads back, slowing getting a little bigger until at about knee height a creature bursts from the sand. It drifts overhead on an updraft, with a span of only a few feet. It comes down to Clair and Coal's level and both get a better look at it. It looks like a sing ray. It's skin is grainular, with a ruddy coloration that makes it easy to hide in the desert. It floats as the first attack comes. * Wild Kawabutsu goes first * The Wild Kawabutsu surges forward to Tackle Coal. Coal deftly gets out of the way and the Kawabutsu floats harmlessly over him. Coal turns and likewise attacks.
