When a guy is lip-less, distorted face, and has nearly no control of his body... he has a hell of a lot of time to think up such creativities.

Of course, in the movie -The Bone Collector-... being eaten alive by desperate rats is a more common but horrible fate as well. Or how about being steamed to death. And this is always after the antagonist expertly carved out a section of the bone.

Everything seems so mundane, yet if you actually realize the horror of these common tortures as a human. In <i>The Red Dragon</I>, the Tattler-guy was burned alive with his lips already bitten off and permanently stuck to a wheelchair. With glue. That doesn't seem so bad... But still, gleh.

I'd suppose it just depends on the humanity of a person. Which Furc would allow us to bury that humanity sometimes.. but ever realize how much it'd suck to have that stuff really happen?
