[The scene shows a huge backdrop of "The Pinfall Wizard" Michael Merlin. The same Citizen Kane backdrop that was in Merlin's very first apperance. Only now, Merlin is sitting atop the podium with his WIW World Championship belt and dangling his legs.]

Merlin- It is done. Finally, the boredom is over. Finally the WIW will become the horror show it has always meant to be. Becuase, finally, I am the WIW World Heavyweight Champion. Despite the fact that I'm not a heavyweight, but that's beside the point. I don't need to be a heavyweight, I'm [sounding out the syllabyle] TOUGH ENOUPH. IT RHYMES SO IT'S TRUE! Since my victory, everyone from White Devil to Draven has been talking about my victory. And why not. I am the greatest World Champion of all time. Lou Thez has nothing on me. But I'm sure you're all wondering why I did what I did, so I'll cut to the chase.

Merlin- This belt means more than fame, glory, power, girls, glamour and a barage of Hostess fruit pies. This belt gives me one thing that I, that the WIW, so desperatly needs: LEVERAGE! You see, a couple of weeks ago, Vigor got me thinking. Gold fever. Everyone has it. Everyone wants this belt. Not a soul hasn't layed claim to it. From Matt Steele to Lame Tyler to Dolores, everyone wants to hold this belt. Now I thought that the IC belt might be something to fight over, but apparently I'm the only one that holds it in the esteem that it deserves. But this, this World belt, well it gives me a special power. The power to hold this belt over certain people's heads. Forget the title or the position it holds, with this belt I become the medice that can cure gold fever.

Merlin- You see, everyone in this fed is just another junkie. A junkie for the belt, willing to do anything for another hit. And I'm the dealer. Tyler can't live without another hit of gold, he spends every waking hour thinking about how he can get his next hit. Well, Tyler, guess what? I'm the only supplier on the block who has what you need to fill your habit.
Then there is Smock. Another junkie. He says he wants this belt, but how do I know? How do I know what he is willing to risk in order to get another hit. He's had a taste of gold before, but is he addicted?
Last Sunday, I lost my IC title and ended my unpresidented two month winning streak. And yeah, I'm pissed. But the Prodigy of Pain doesn't get mad, he gets even. Smock. I would love to fight you again, prove that I can beat you anytime, anyplace. But uniting the IC and World belts just ins't going to happen. It wouldn't be fair to all the other wrestler that want yout IC title, like Eric Doering for example. Now there is a man who can respect a champion. There is a man who is going to go far in this buisiness. But don't worry, Smock, I'll give you your shot sooner or later. But you'll have to wait like Elizabeth Wurtzel in the midst of a lithium binge.

Merlin- Now Chaos was a great Delawarean, but he lost. He lost and that is why he is gone. The great state of Delaware has no room for losers! But Doering, now he is a winner. He is a man who has the knowlage and forsite to take out Draven for me. He is am who not only deserves the IC title, he has earned it.

Merlin- But what has anyone done to earn my World title? Anything. No. No one has impressed me enouph. But it seems that I am now in quite a precarious position to declare a contender, so I have a proposal.
Lame Tyler. You said you want this belt more than anyhing, I say prove it. I promise, on the honor of the great state of Delaware that if you sign this [pull out a thick contract] piece of paper then you will get your shot at me. I promise.
This contract states that I, "The Pinfall Wizard" Michael Merlin will become your manager for the next month. That's right, not only will you get a shot at me, but you also get my great managerial skills to help you with your matches.
What this entails is that, until the next PPV, I will determine EVERY match you are in and every stipulation. I will accompany you to ring side. But more importantly, it means that if you lay a hand on me, in or out of the ring, unless it is to defend yourself or your family, the contract is null and void and no title shot for you. It also means that I get 10% of your income.
In exchange for this at the next PPV, as your manager I will arrange a match between Michael Merlin and Shane Tyler. No stipulations. No gimicks. Just a wrestling match to determine whether THERE IS NONE BETTER or if I'm...BETTER THAN JESUS!
Now your could just wait until Mr. Hythe, might decide to give ou a shot, but since you came into this fed late, may other contenders have better records than you and have a better chance of being picked for this title.
So what do you say, JERK-ASS?

Merlin- But all you other junkies out there, don't you worry. I will be defending my belt every week. Each week I will pick someone who has earned a shot at my belt, and they will have their go. But you have to earn it. So all you WIW superstars out there, get your thinking caps on and think of ways to impress me if you want to get hit.
Some of you my think that this hostage of the title may be a little too mean, but the King of Zing isnt just mean...I'm methanpheta-MEAN! Good night.
