I hear you oldtimer. Really though, I think Worthen has done a hell of a job with RT66. The spectators for the size of the city and what racing has become was (is) fantastic.
He has given the spectators what they want. A smooth consistant, fast show. You do that by giving the racers what they want. A even and fair application of the rules.

A big part of the problem (or changes) are really the difference in the cars the big switch to front drivers and "euro" type cars. And the "kids" today would rather have a thumper stereo and neon lites underneath.

Thank God there are still a few around that want to race.

I guess racing wont ever be like it was when I was a teen again, but then I sure have changed too.
