*Chapter Three*
~Shad had to leave to go to a radio station after we made up. While I was shutting the door Jackie walked up behind me and pinched my side kinda hard telling me she was upset~
Jonna:*turning around and holding my side*Ouch! What was that for?!
Jackie: What was wrong with him?! Did you hear and see how he looked at me when he told me to leave?!
Jonna: Yeah and I'm sorry. I told him I didn't like how he treated you. He apologized and then we made up-
Jackie: Made up? Okay jonna for the first time in a long time, I'm a have to talk to you like I'm your mother.
~I sat down on the couch and laied back. I knew this was gonna take up half the day~
Jackie:*sitting beside me*I know you don't like these talks, but I promised your mother on her death bed that I was gonna take care of you-
Jonna: I know this Jackie-
Jackie: Jonna you don't know this boy! In less then an hour you let him take something that you only get once in life! Now I know you're a fane, but this is too much! Then you let him spend the night?! what's gotten into you?! If your mother was here she would of kncked you upside your head by now!
Jonna: Look Jonna, he likes me and I like him, why are you acting like we're gonna runaway and get married-
Jackie: Did you even use a condom?!
~I was quiet and ad to think, I knew I was in trouble because it all happened so fast, and I don't remember him using one.~
Jackie: Alright get dressed.
~I watch Jonna get her shoes and looked back at me~
Jackie: Go get dressed! We are going to go get some test done!
~I sighed and went up to my room to get dressed. I came back down in baggy clothes and we walked out the door to see our neighbors talking to the same girl that bumped into me at the concert~
Jonna: Who's that?
Jackie:*looking for her keys*Who's who?
Jonna: That girl, who is she?
~Jackie looked up just as the girl turned around and mugged me~
Jackie: Oh that's Paula, she Mr. and Mrs. Parkers granddaughter.
~I mugged her back and got intot he car~
Jonna: What's she doing here?
Jackie: She's staying for the summer.
~I sighed loudly and looked out the window. My mind driffed back to the backstage area lastnight. How did Shad know her? He came over to apologize for her, but never said who she was to him. I looked over to Jackie and saw her looking at someone wide eyed. I looked over to where she was looking and saw Shad tounging some girl in his car. I let out a scream just as the light turned green. How could he do this to me?! So what I've known him for a day and a half, how could he just go meet some girl behind my back like that!? I looked back out my window and let tear roll down my cheeks. Fifteen minutes later we arrived at the hospital and I saw my doctor~
Dr.Smith: How are we doing Jonna?
Jonna: Alright, I'm here to get tested.
Dr.Smith:*looking at his chart*For what?
Jonna: I wanna see if I'm pregenat.
~Dr.Smith put his chart down and looked at me closely. I looked away at the wall and bit my lower lip. I turned back around to see her still staring at me.~
Jonna: Dr.Smith?
~She blinked and looke dback at her chart just as my cellphone started playing "Thank You" I answered and heard Shad's voice.~
Jonna: What do you want!?
Shad: Whoa, what's wrong with you?!
~I looked at Dr,Smith and she nodded her head and left.~
Jonna: You must be crazy calling me! How did you get my number anyway?!
Shad: First of all, what are you talking about?! Second, I have my ways.
~I sucked my teeth and then asked him something that's been on my mind since we was at the car.~
Jonna: Who's Paula?
~Shad got quiet and hung up. I pushed *69 and called him back~
Shad: Hello?
Jonna: I asked you a question!
Shad: How the...look she's a friend! How do you know her?!
Jonna: I have my ways. Don't call me anymore!
Shad: What got you so upset?! Is it about this morning?!
Jonna: No it's about you kissing some slut in your car!
~I hung up just as Dr.Smith came back in. We went through all the test and found out I wasn't pregnant. I thanked Dr.Smith and went went home. When i go tout the car I saw Shad talking to Paula next door. I slammed the car door causing them to look up. Paula smiled at me and Shad glared at me. Jackie took me by the arm and whispered it would be alright and we walked into the house. I went up to my room and started taking my posters down and putting his CD's in a box and put it in the back of my closet. I laied down on my bed and cried myself to sleep.~
