Aiight I know it's been awhile but here's the next add on to the story.....ENJOY!!!
He came to the door and swung it open with a mighty thrust, waking the lady that layed in the bed. They both looked at each other, both each instantly recognizing the oher. Their mouths fell open as they just starred.
Meanwhile Lyric, Dawn, and I were still in the bathroom waiting for someone to say something. We were actually surprised ourselves that the whole thing worked since we were trying to be optimistic about it, just in case it didn't.
Mami: What are you doing here?
Papi: What am I doing here, what are you doing here?
Mami: This is my hospital room. So please tell me why are you here in it?
Papi: I got a call from the hospital saying my daughter had been in an accident at cheerleading camp. So I rushed right over, and the nurse at the desk said that this as her room.
Mami: Well for one, your daughter didn't go to cheerleading camp she went to Camp Cope, unless you mean the daughter you snatched up and ran out of the apartment with leaving Chris, Chelle, and I all alone.
Papi: Cynthia do not try to blame this on me, please? You already know this was a mutual agreement. But I'm sure you've told Chelle otherwise.
Mami: Please she doesn't even ask about you. A good thing, because I don't think I would be able to tell her that we couldn't raise her and Dawn together, beccause of our own issues.
The three of us walked out of the bathroom and just looked at both of them.
Me: So why don't you tell the three of us now.
Dawn: Yeah we're all listening. And I do think it's time.
Lyric: Yeah we're all old enough we deserve an explanation.
C/L/D: We sure do. So talk.
The both of them just looked at us in disbelief. Looking from one of us to the next and other one, then back at one another. Again their mouths were hanging open and their eyes were bugged.
Mami: Oh my God!! Chelle, Chris, and Dawn? Together? How did that happen?
Chelle: We met at camp. Her camp was right across the lake from mine. My girls saw her thinkin it was me, while her boys saw me thinkin it was her.
Dawn: And then we finally met each other at Family day. Exchanged baby pictures and noticed that they were both ripped right down the middle.
Lyric: Then they called me and we decided we wanted you both together in the same room so you could tell all of us what went down 17 years ago.
Chelle: Oh yeah Ma, C and Kel were in on it too. The girl who was at the desk was Clara, Mr. Morales and the girl who called you was my friend Kelly.
Papi:[tears in his eyes] She called me Mr. Morales. Why don't you call me Papi, Chelle?
Lyric: Because Mr. Morales, she doesn't recognize you as her father. You weren't there for 17 yrs when she needed you. For you to tell her about boys and how they think. She had to wait until I went through it so I could tell her.
Mami: I didn't know you girls wanted to know about your father. Why didn't you ask me?
Papi: Dawn why didn't you ask me about your mother? I would've told you. All you had to do was ask.
Dawn: It wasn't like we would have gotten a straight answer anyways. I mean you two just said that you didn't want to tell us that you had to raise us apart when we should've been together.
Papi: Honey we're sorry. But the truth is we couldn't raise you together. We weren't getting along. Something happened after the two of you were born and we just haven't been able to get along.
Chelle: Still you should have told us about each other. Do you know hurt I was to learn my mother didn't even tell me about my sister, my twin? Someone that I have a close connection with since we shared the same womb?
Dawn: And I had to actually believe that my father was a liar and trying to hide things from me. Just like my friends said. I didn't wanna believe it, but I had to face reality. You lied to me, you both lied to us.
Papi: Can we talk about this later? I really would like to have you all over for dinner.
Mami: I don't think that will be necessary seeing as I wouldn't be caught dead having dinner with you again as long as I live. However long that may be now.
Papi: What is that supposed to mean?
Mami: Nothing. Why should you care now? You didn't care when you walked out on us 17 years ago.
Papi: Fine. Be stubborn just like you always have been. And part of the reason why I left.
Lyric: Look!! You two are not helping the situation by arguing! Mami you need to tell him what's going on. Or I will. So you can be stubborn if you want. Either way he is still going to know.
Papi: Look why don't you girls give us some time alone. Just so we can talk everything out. Or at least start on it. Just for a few minutes then you can come back in here.
Chelle: Yeah ok. Mami we'll be right outside the room okay?
Mami: It's fine go ahead baby.
The three of us left the room. Leaving the two ex's in the room alone to discuss their differences.
Aiight I g2g but I will add on again soon. I've just been busy with everything going on here wit my life.
