John and Jarell
They have the same class this period too. (Economics)
Jarell: What's wrong with you?
John: Sweet thinks I'm cheating on her.
Jarell: Why does she think that?
John: She says it's because I look at other girls but it's a natural thing. All guys do it.
Jarell: Just talk to her after this period. She'll be alright.
John: Yeah okay. But I just can't belive that she would think that. She said that I might be cheating because she's not ready to have sex and I am. I told her that we don't have to do that 'til she is ready.
Jarell: Well maybe you should do something to prove to her that she is the only one for you.
John: Maybe. But I don't know what it should be.
Jarell: Have a candle light dinner set up on the beach or something.
John: I'll do that.
Chelle and Vince
Chelle: If you love me like you say you do then why did you sleep with Danielle?
Vince: I have needs and...
Chelle: And what? You just couldn't control yourself when you knew that you were supposed to be with me? I ain't got time for this.
Vince: It wasn't like that baby. She basically threw herself at me and if she was givin it up I wasn't gonna pass it up.
Chelle: Like I said I ain't got time to her yo BS or hers. If you need it that bad why don't you just leave me alone and go be with her?
Vince: Cuz I don't love her. I love you.
Chelle: Well I thought you loved me too but you obviously don't since you just had to sleep with my friend. I'm gone.
Chelle walked away from Vince before he could say anything to her. She went to the girls bathroom and cried the rest of the period.
Lami & Murph
They had the same class this period which was a study hall. Lami told Murph about what happened between Chelle, Vince, and Danielle.
Murph: That's foul how Vince did yo sister man. Is she okay?
Lami: I ono. I offered to beat him up but she said that it was okay. I think she's really hurt though.
Murph: Yeah Chelle's probably somewhere crying her eyes out now. Man I hope Vince realizes what he lost.
Lami: He probably ain't gonna realize it til he see her with somebody else.
Murph: Yeah. That's why I try to do everything in my power to stay with Kima. She got a bad temper so I know what my boundaries are.
Lami: Bad temper? Man her temper his foul. Kima is crazy too.
Murph: Aye man that's my gurl you talkin bout. Go easy on her. She can't help it if she gotta temper.
Lami: Oh yes she can. She just need to learn not to let things bother her soo much.
Murph: Look she's gettin help she got them anger management classes so she'll be aiight.
Lami: Yeah whateva. She still crazy.
The bell rang and they all meet at lunch. Danielle was sitting by Vince and his friends when Chelle, Kima, Clara, and Sweet walked in. He got up to go talk to her.
Vince: Chelle can I talk to you?
Chelle: You did all the talkin I wanna hear. I ain't nothin' else to say to you and you ain't got nothin' else to say to me.
Vince: Will you....
Chelle: I ain't gotta do nothin. Now if you don't mind you need to back up and go sit wit yo skank.
Vince: Don't call her a skank just cuz she did somethin for me that you wouldn't do.
Sweet: Boy you betta gone somewhere. She don't wanna hear nothin you gotta say and neither do we.
Vince: Excuse me but was I talkin to you?
Clara: Nope but I'm talkin to you so there.
Vince: Like I said CHELLE can I talk to you ALONE?
Chelle: Didn't I already say no? What part of the word don't you understand the N or the O?
Vince: You know what I ain't got time fo this. It's ova between us.
Chelle: It's been over since I walked away from you outside so you the one who got dumped.
Vince: Whateva b*tch I ain't got nothin else to say to you.
Sweet: Oh hold up I know you ain't just call her what I think you called her. I betta just be hearin things.
Chelle: I think he did. Now you got less than two seconds to get away from me or I'ma beat yo ass.
Just then the guys walked in and saw Chelle, Kima, Clara, and Sweet arguing with Vince.
Jarell: Aye what's goin on over there with the gurls?
Lami: I ono but I'm about to go find out what's goin on.
Lami left with Jarell followin him.
Murph: Oh no, Chelle's over there goin off. Let's go get her befo she hurt that boy.
John:[laughin] Okay but I say we let her hit him a couple of times befo we pull her off of him.
Murph: Aiight let's go.
They walked over to the gurls too. The guys were all standing behind the gurls to hear what was happenin.
Vince: Yeah I called you one and what you gonna do about it lil gurl?
Chelle: Lil gurl? Oh I know you ain't just call me no lil gurl.
Vince: Yeah I did now what?
Lami: What's goin on ova here?
Kima: Nothin let's just leave it alone come on ya'll.
Dee: No we ain't gonna leave it alone. First he cheats on Chelle then calls her a b*tch, we ain't leavin it alone.
Lami: Wait a minute you called my lil sister a b*tch? Is that what they just told me?
Gurls: Yes!
So everybody's yelling and screaming so much that they don't even notice that Chelle leaves, since they were holdin her back and her tears started to flood her eyes. The girls are really bout to hurt this fool, Sweet's already hit him a few times, John's practicaly carrying her away.
Sweet: Let go! let me at him!!!
John: I ain't putting you down until you calm down baby.
Sweet: JOHN FITCH!!
John: I'm doing it cause I love you, now calm down.
Sweet: Okay I promise, let me down.
John:[lets her down] Now remember Kima's anger mangement class technique, breathe in and breathe out.
Sweet: Okay, breathe in and breathe out. [then she runs back at Vince]
John: Oh lawd.
Olamide's having a few words with him, then Vince pushes him, and they start fighting.
Kima: Hey, where did Chelle go?
Clara: Baby be careful!
Sweet: Thats right Lami! Go head beat him up!
Kima went off looking for Chelle, Lami is beating Vince up, Clara is making sure her baby don't get hurt, Jarell and Murph are with Clara but they trying to break the fight up, John is holding Sweet back.
Kima finds Chelle in the bathroom crying. She goes over to comfort her.
Kima: Chelle, gurl why'd you leave without tellin us you were leaving?
Chelle: I just wanted to be alone right now. That boy hurt me after I gave him all my love. Well at least everything that I could give him.
Kima: Chelle, gurl. It ain't yo fault he's a dog. He had something good and if he couldn't realize it that's his fault not your's.
Chelle: I know but I really did love him. And he goes and sleeps wit my friend. That hurts even more.
Kima: Well guess what?
Chelle: What?
Kima:[laughing] Sweet is in there hitting him upside his head. John had to pick her up and move her.
Chelle:[laughing] That gurl is a trip. Well we better go get her before she hurts him.
Kima: I don't think that'll be a problem Lami is kinda fightin him right now.
Chelle jumped up and ran for the door and back to the cafeteria to break up the fight between Lami and Vince. Kima was three steps behind her. Chelle got to the cafeteria and pulled Lami off of Vince.
Chelle: Lami I told you not to.
Lami: Chelle he started it by pushin me you know I don't take that from no body.
Kima walked up out of breathe.
Kima: Dang gurl you can run. You need to try out for the track team.
Murph: Aww my poor baby.
Lami walks over to Clara.
Clara:[hugging him] OMG! Lami, Baby are you okay?
Lami: Yea baby I'm fine. Vince is the one you should be worried about.
Clara:[laughin] Ok baby but let me take care of that cut over your eye.
Lami: Okay
Clara and Lami walk to Clara's locker. She pulls out some alcohol and some band aids.
