Chelle was chillin in her room when she decided to turn on her 3LW CD. She skipped all her favorite songs on the album and went to the one song that descrobed her mood right now, "Not This Time." She thought that maybe this would at least help her with some of her problems that she was having with Dareon's no good self.
See, Dareon, her boyfriend, hadn't called her in 3 days and at school he would dodge her in the hallways, along with before and after school. She wasn't feeling like his girlfriend anymore but knew she wanted to stay with him until he gave her a reason to break up with him.
While she was picking out her clothes for the next day and singing along with the CD her phone rang.
Chelle: I'm coming I'm coming. Dang. [looking at the caller ID] Anonyamous? Who could that be?[picking up the phone]Hello?
MV: Hey boo. What you been up to?
Chelle:[rolling her eyes] Oh hey Dareon.
Dareon: Why you say it like that boo?
Chelle: You haven't called me in 3 days and then in school you're dodging me in the halls, before and after school. And you expect me to be all happy go lucky when you call? Naw boo boo it don't work like that aiight? Chelle don't jump for nobody but the Lord, ya understeard me?
Dareon: I know boo. I'm sorry about that. I've been really busy. And I'm trying to stay up on my grades so they won't kick me off the teams.
Chelle:[sitting on her bed] Dareon if that was the problem why didn't you just ask me? You know I gotta 3.85 to a 3.94 gpa average.
Dareon: I didn't want to bug you with my problems. You know I just want to see you succeed in whatever you do.
Chelle: Now you know if I'm going some where you gonna go some where too. You're the captain of the undefeated basketball team and the star player. You got the NBA and every top college giving you offers left and right. What am I? Varsity cheerleader and Volleyball captain, a color gaurd, a latin dancer, and President of the Senior class that's really nothing compaired to you.
Dareon: Boo you know you got the smarts to get into any college you want to. So don't say that.
Chelle: Aiight Dareon. So what you doing? You too busy to talk to yo girl today?
Dareon: No I was just wondering if you could help me study for my history exam, so can ya?
Chelle:[laughing] Yeah boy. Come on over and tell my mom to just let you up. And this time you better knock on my door!!
Dareon:[laughing] Aiight boo I will. I love you.
Chelle: I love you too. [they hang up and she runs to her closet to get something to wear.]
It's 10 minutes since she talked to Dareon and she's sitting in her room waiting. She decided to wear her pink Baby Phat shirt that had Baby Phat written in rhimstones on the front. She also had on some DKNY stretch flares with rhimstones going down the sides and around every pocket. And for shoes, well slippers she had on some Tweety slippers[lol].
Chelle was sitting on her bed listening to "No More" when she heard a knock at the door. She ran to her stereo and turned it off and opened the door. There was Dareon with his books. Chelle was very impressed as she looked him over. He actually has his books and he's on time. Chelle thought to herself.
Chelle: Hey boo boo.[they hug]
Dareon: Hey boo. You look good.
Chelle: Don't I always? [laughs] Naw I'm just playin. You do too. Lookin thugged out and jigga junk.
Dareon: I do try boo. You know. [possing then stops] Aiight come on, let's get to studying. I really need to pass this test to play in the next game.
Chelle:[sitting at her desk] Aiight now. Let's see what you're studying. Civil Rights Movement. Oh okay I know this front to back. Well it all started in 19.............
They continue to study for another hour or so. And he was really making some porgress this time. Well it is now 11:30pm and Chelle's mom pops her head into her room.
Chelle's Mom:[knocking then leaning inside] Honey it's 11:30pm. Don't you two thing it's getting kind of late?
Chelle:[looking at her clock] OMG!! It's 11:30pm. I didn't know it was that late. Dareon do you think we can continue this say tomorrow at lunch?
Chelle's Mom: Don't be up too late.[leaves the room and shuts the door]
Dareon:[gathering his books] Yeah that'd be coo. I'll pick you up tomorrow morning though ok?
Chelle:[smiling] Aiight that's coo. You know I've really missed you over these past 3 days even though you had me pissed.
Dareon:[hugging her and kissing her on her forehead] I know baby girl. I promise to be a lot better from no on okay?
Chelle: Okay. I love you boo boo. [hitting him] But don't ever do that to me again, ya understeard me?
Dareon:[laughing] You and that word. But yeah I understand you. And I'm sorry.
They go downstairs and are standing on the porch.
Dareon: Now be ready at 7:30am so we won't be late to school okay?
Chelle: Aiight boo boo I know. I'll be out here waiting for you at 7:25am aiight?
Dareon: Mmmhmm. And if you knew why were we always a few minutes late because SOMEONE wasn't ready til 7:45am?
Chelle: Aiight aiight. Don't rub it in. I'll be out hear at 7:25am okay? Now go so you can get some sleep. I want my man lookin as fione as he always is.
Dareon: You go to sleep too. My boo gotta look tizight tomorrow. [they kiss again and as she turns around to go back inside he hits her butt] Hey I couldn't resist.
Chelle:[opening the door] Mmhmm go home. I'll see you in the morning and I got you too.
He hopped in his car and sped off while Chelle went inside and back up to her room. She decided to call her sister DiAndra or Dee in her room.
Dee's room
Dee was sitting on her bed listening to a Jay-Z CD. She decided to change the CD so she got up and went to her stereo. She was just about to put in R.Kelly and turn it on "Feelin' On Yo Booty" when her phone rang.
Dee:[walking to the phone] It's 11:45 at night who the heckz could this be? [picking up the phone] You've called Dee so speak yo mind.
Chelle: Girl! It's me what you doing?
Dee: Oh sup girl? Nothin bout to listen to "Feelin On Yo Booty". What you doin?
Chelle: Nothin. Girl Dareon just left here.
Dee: Are you serious?
Chelle: YES!!!
Dee: Oh so y'all still together?
Chelle: Of course why wouldn't we be?
Dee: Cuz he ain't call for 3 days and in school he wasn't talkin to you. I thought you would've disconnected his behind.
Chelle:[laughing] Girl you a trip. But naw he's gonna give me a ride to school tomorrow morning. Want one?
Dee: Naw. I'm coo. My baby will give me a ride. I'm glad you two are talking again.
Chelle: Me too.
Dee: Now you'll leave me and Michael alone to let us get back into knowing each other.
Chelle: UGH!!! Dee you get on my nerves! But I know I wasn't that bad. Anywayz I gotta go get some sleep. I have to be ready and out on the proch by 7:25am.
Dee: Aiight chic, bye.
Chelle: Bye. [they hang up]
BBL I gotta go to work.
