Yes, I just ordered and received the first trilogy of the books- The Black Company, Shadows Linger and The White Rose. I had to order them separately from different websites: The Black Company and Shadows Linger from Amazon.com, and The White Rose from Borders.com. I've been reading quite a few reviews about the trilogy, and the thing that has stood out above all else is that one should purchase all three books together. Evidently, once you put down the first book, you'll want to reach for the second.

Anyone know of any highly acclaimed, really well done science fiction/wasteland-type post-apocalyptic books out there? I've read quite a few of the Shadowrun books (those are fun, 2XS was definitely my favorite) but am at a serious disadvantage when looking for other books. As the Captain would tell you, I had originally thought The Black Company to be futuristic combat oriented books, but was told otherwise.

Open to suggestions.
