1) It would probably be possible induce a greenhouse effect on mars by introducing more greenhouse gasses into the martian atmosphere, however the amount required would be vast. It is currently extremly expensive to bring anything into space, and we do not have a ship suitable for taking large payloads to mars (The shuttles, of which three now remain, are only designed for orbiting the earth).

Also concerning scheduling; Missions to mars only occur every two years, as this is when they are at their closest point to each other. Anyother time would be unfeasible.



2) Plant life would probably help thicken the atmosphere, but there is no liquid water on mars, so they could not grow/photosynthesise.



3) A space ship that used centipetal force to simulate gravity would solve a huge number of problems, but it would neet to be extremly large, and probably constructed in space. It is unlikely that funding for research or implementation is likely to occur in the near future.
