hells yeah i was there, great fucking show! i can write a show review for you guys if you want, just say thy word. i really liked the new songs, they were some good shit! the instrumental song sounds like some sweet led zeppelin stuff, like a jam off of the song remains the same, with kirk hammett playing lead.
~~
a round of applause goes to ian for playing the violin part for survivor. well, it's keyboard, but it's supposed to be a violin. that was some fast stuff! he's the best guitarist i've seen around here by far, and i've seen everyone so far.
~~
another round of applause to mike for pulling off a mean maynard on 'sober', that was better than when aaron lewis attempted it. really hard stuff, those tool covers, but you guys really did a great job with it.
~~
kari fucking kicks ass!! brandon stuck out like a sore thumb, and the tone was all the way up on his bass, so he sounded like a punchy second guitar. kari on the other hand is so heavy-sounding! a real bassist, and she not only kept up, but held her own, and that's rare in a bassist these days. they're all usually guitarists that switch over to bass so they can be in a band and feel important about themselves, but not kari! not to mention she was a thrill to watch, you guys really have fun up on stage now!
~~
last but not least, jason has really come into his own as a drummer. he's improved so much since that show at the gazeebo thingy in berlin, he's really heavy-sounding now. you guys really beefed up the rhythm section, and it's really complimenting the originals.

ps - my brother wants a pinion shirt now, too!
