Steed couldn't control his body and now he could barely control his thoughts, for images of blood and dying things filled his head, of dead horses and fighting horses, and of a dark shape looming up in the distance, and devouring two stags. He fought the vision and he recalled something Silver Renegade had told him, of a great battle where a demon or God was set to destroy the world yet was contained and sealed until one day it could break free and ravage the land, taking revenge upon the ancestors that sealed it. Power had grown yet it could only use so much inside this body, for it hadn't gotten the strength to have one of his own, though when it was freed it took one up for a short time. Yes, this had something to do with that thing, he thought. Then the voice filled his head once agian.
"So Sunchaser, you know of my origin? So what if you do, my brother will pay as well, once I get some things settled."
Then the stag, or more the ting that controlled it rose up in a rear, at the band of horses of mixed hearts. The eyes, now a fiery silver locked onto the stag named Cass.
YOU!!!! You I shall kill first, for I know you better than the rest! Then I shall finish you ALL!!!
With a rear the immortal thing came down and and chunks of earth flew up, then with an unearthy scream that no horse could make, it charged at Cass.
