Dan continued to glare at Sage, mistrust and years of physical and mental abuse visible in his pale blue eyes. Dan glanced at Chana and hissed quietly "I understand." Sage struggled to escape Chana's grasp. "I understand if you'll just let me go." They both seemed to be ignoring Peter and Maaya.
