Perfect Biscuits


3 cups of self-rising flour.
1 stick of real butter.
1 1 /2 cups of buttermilk.
Cut the butter into the flour with a pastry cutter or whatever tool you have handy.
Add the buttermilk and stir. (It will be sticky.) Turn it out on a floured surface, sprinkle with flour and knead it until it’s no longer sticky.
Then roll it out or pat it out. Cut with biscuit cutter or spoon onto ungreased pan.
Bake at 425 degrees until golden brown.
Melt 1/4 to 1/2 stick of butter and brush onto biscuits.
Bake another minute or so.
