Subject: looking for recipe for whoopie pies

I HAVE LOST MY RECIPE FOR WHOOPIE PIES. TRADITIONAL CHOCOLAE ONES AND PUMPKIN WITH A CREAM CHEESE FILLING. ANY HELP WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED. THANK YOU

Chocolate Whoopie Pies

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsps. baking soda
5 tbsps. Hershey's cocoa -- unsweetened
5 tbsps. shortning
2 cups flour
1 cup milk
1 lg. egg

Mix all ingredients in a lg bowl.Drop by sm. tblsps. onto cookie sheet.Bake @ 400° for 7-9 min. When cool,put together with whoopie pie filling. FILLING 3/4 cup shortning(3 tbsps. of this should be butter,for flavor) 3/4 cup confectioners sugar 3/4 cup marshmallow fluff 1 1/2 tsps. vanilla Beat all ingredients together until creamy,then spread between whoopie pie cookies.
