Subject: Baked Swiss Steak. Can use slow cooker.

Baked Swiss Steak
boneless round steak
flour for coating and 1 tabls for thickening
salt
oil
1 can stewed tomatoes (2 if you have more than a 1lb of steak)
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/4 up to 1/2 cup (depending on taste) chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
chedder cheese

Coat meat on both sides with flour and salt. In a skillet, brown meat in oil. Put browned meat in a baking dish. In the pan drippings add tomatoes, carrot, celery, onion, Worcestershire sauce and 1 tbls of flour. Bring to a boil.
Cook and stir for 2 min. Pour over meat. Cover and cook for 1 1/2 hrs at 350'. Sprinkle cheese and serve.

For slow cookers
Just add all ingredients minus cheese after browning the meat to crock pot. .
