Exiting the woods without a sound, you come to see a huge, lush meadow with a crystal lagoon nearby. On the far side there is a row of mountains, caves lining the sides. Galloping across the meadow, you catch the scent of fellow equines from the caverns. Entering, you let your eyes adjust to the darkness, but are suprised to see the caves are quite light and warm from the cracks on the sides, letting yellow unlight seep in. *Hello.* A deep and welcome voice coems from behind you. *You turn to see the King of Wild Spirits. *I Am Spirit of the Darkness, I believe we have met briefly. My herd is just down that tunnel.*He gestures to a large corrider-like tunnel, but twists out of sight. *There running water is available, shelter, and a little grass. These caverns keep us warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and provides comftrable sleeping areas. During the day we go out to the meadow and lagoon to graze, bathe, and let the foals play. You are welcome to stay if you wish, you know where to find me.*He turns and trots off the walkway, leaving you in the red-clay cave to decide your fate...

During the day the herd can be seen grazing or playing in the stream nearby. The emerald green grass is lush for grazing in the summer, and the water cold. In the winter, grass is more scarce, but rarely does food become a problem. At night or in blustery weather they seek shelter in warm, cozy caverns, with a running stream through it. Wolves are a problem sometimes, but not often, for the are warned off by protectors.
