Those small jaws are fun to catch. How deep do you fish for the smallies this time of the year?
Have the skippies left the damn area?
This time of the year I usually had to put out minnow baskets and catch creek chubs for bait. I always have a hard time catching shad in the fall.
Have you tried stink bait for channels at the damn?

I got there at 6 am. And the waves were 2 + ft then. Ths skipjack have left he dam for a good while now. Pete
