Not bad for 1 hour. Some good eating. I finally got out Monday and caught 4 good bass. The lake is stocked with channels also but no idea where to start fishing for them.
Too many weeds to drift. I ran back and forth looking at the deep holes but never did see any catfish.

If they are like our channel cats. And the water is near 70 degrees look near tree tops in shallow water. I catch them here in less then 3 ft of water.

Pete, this is a typical Florida lake . No structure in the lake just weeds. Saucer shaped. May just go to the river and catch bull heads. They are plenty of them. There are no blues or flatheads this far south. May have to revert back to old habits and bass fish. lol

Hoot any kind of fishing is better then not fishing at all.
I bet the bass fishing would be great there in the winter time.
