Got to the river unloaded the boat. Pulled back up to the bank. And when I went to back the boat out. The prop came off.
OOhhh well at least it was at the ramp, And not 10 miles form there..LOL
HAve a new one ordered. And will go take a dive in the am to see if I can find the old one.

Did catch 5 fish above the ramp. Took the trolling motor and took the boat about 1/4 mile up river and caught 2 blues and 3 channels. Biggest was 6 lbs..

Pete

Sounds like some of my luck Pete. Good thing it was at the ramp. Was your prop stainless or aluminum? Might fish it out with a magnet if stainless.

You could probably get one at your local boat dealer.
Probably want cost over 20 bucks. They are not making any money that's what they say.

LMAO A old fisherman like you forget to check prop. I am ashamed of you Pete.
I lost one last year. Son went off the back of the boat to find it and stepped right on it. Was lucky.
Still not a bad day for you though.
Miner, are you keeping Vernon and Sulligent staraight sense I have left?? lol

Minor, Yep it was a hard decision. There is so much to do in Vernon. Would like to live up there close to Pete. Wouldn't be a catfish safe for 40 miles.

Hoot I did look as I was putting the plug in, But can't rember if it that time or last year.LOL
The water is deep 20ft from the bank where I unloaded the boat.
Guess thats one of the bad things about a big boat..LOL
Think I can pick up the lost one sunday morning. AS the water should be down. And it will be in about 6ft of water.
So swiming I go..
