Well, I am (foolishly, perhaps) embarking on a sponsored walk in 15 days time.

I've decided to walk a whole 10 kilometres (6.4ish miles for the elder members of the board) in order to raise funds for the rather wonderful St Ann's Hospice in Greater Manchester. It's also an opportunity to get a bit fitter for summer (not 'bikini-fit' as that wouldn't be pleasant for anyone).

So, if you're a supporter of the great work of hospices - and yes, you'll no doubt be able to laugh at some action shots from the walk once it's over - please give generously and leave a cherished message of support at:
