and, yes, i agree, Eurovision was awful.

Problem is, the UK ahs a warped idea of what a Eurovision song is. We're stuck about 10 years ago, when Scooch probably would have won. If we do a bland soft rock ballad next year we'd do better - political voting notwithstanding. To win it we need to appeal to eastern europe and they are big on MOR cack. And singing potatoes, it would appear...

Still, we did better than Ireland who were the nmost tuneless I've ever heard (worse than Jemini!)
