I get on OK with him but he is a total know-it-all. Director, MD and Choreographer rolled into one. I find it quite amusing but some of the guys are freaking out.

It really is the most depressing piece of crap I’ve ever been in though. We’ve hit that point in rehearsal where the initial enthusiasm has worn off and nobody can be bothered with it. Even our MD is getting a bit tetchy and she’s usually the sweetest, calmest person out. The principals generally aren’t the best singers in the world – they can’t even sing Matchmaker properly. Luckily for me she still likes me so when I came in at completely the wrong place and forgot all my words she just laughed.

Today I am mostly organising Laura the Goat’s Mum’s funeral music. I get all the good jobs.
