Subject: Egg and Spoon and Sister Sisters Verdict Post

I'd forgotten what a characterless venue Wembley is. The new stadium looks good though. The audience was a very odd bunch, was not the campfest I had expected but actually rather middle aged. Lots of cardigans and what looked like office nights out. My pink fluffy cowboy hat and sequinned mini skirt blended right in.

Lily Allen was not the horrific chav I expected, really good support set (OK we only heard 3 songs as I'd have been bored with more). The best thing is that they had promo staff walking round selling pints that they actually brought to your seat. Result.

The Sisters were Scissortastic. I think I preferred seeing them in a festival environment and the stage set was not as dramatic as I'd expected but they are fantastic performers. Ana Matronic is apparently only 32. Yeah, OK love. Add ten years to that and I might believe you. She's still fabulous though and I shall add her to my lesbian crush list. She is also clearly not a size 8 which is a beautiful thing. Our wardrobe bitches would hate her. Not only is she a "woman of shape", she also has that nasty tattoo that would need covering up but seeing as she'd be wearing a sack at least 3 sizes too big that covers her whole body I suppose that wouldn't be a problem.

Good night but I'm a lot more excited about The Killers at Brixton on Monday.
