Subject: Advice from those of you with lives please

When going to a gig with a group of friends how the HELL do you arrange to meet?

Tonight we are going to The Killers at Brixton.

Suggestion 1. Weatherspoons by Victoria Station.
Objection 1. I don't like Weatherspoons pubs, the floors are sticky and they get packed because they are so cheap.

Suggestion 2. Nice bar I drink in with work 2 tube stops from where we are going, one stop from Waterloo station on the train.
Objection 2. I don't know how to get there.

Suggestion 3. Pub 2 minutes from tonight's venue recommended by colleague who lives in Brixton. Very popular with people going to gigs at the Academy.
Objection 3. I'm not going there if it's popular with people going to the gig as we wont be able to sit down.


Today I have sent an e-mail to everybody asking them what they have decided while I've been away this weekend. The response is generally "I don't care where we meet". But clearly they do ... AAAAAAARGH!!!!!!! I think I might arrange to meet Crazylegs (who is sane) and sell everybody else's tickets to touts.
