No I was a Firefighter in Scotia, my great-grandfather was a firefighter in Cohoes, I have his papers from 1903, my grandfather was a charter member of both Halfmoon and West Cresent, matter of fact the West Cresent station sits where his house once stood and my father was a Cohoes firefighter in the late 50's.

I remember the Mara's fire, I don't think there was a rig in Troy, Green Island, Maplewood, Waterford and most of Colonie left.

I moved to Nisksyuna in the early sixties and graduated from there.
