Subject: Feeding

We have 12 guinea pigs 8 males, 4 females. 6 males were babies together and share same large cage. They are about 4 years old. Original 2 male (now 5 years old) fought so they are seperate and females (4 are together in another large cage. We do not breed. We just enjoy. All have own little personalities.
Regards to lettuce, ours love it but I feed it with quick cooking oats and it doesn't affect them, not too much lettuce though. I have fed potato peels too without any green or sprouting or eyes. They also love grasses and if your garden is chemical free they make great fertilizers and lawn mowers. I always check for poisonous plants and weeds.
