Curious about WNCN in Raleigh. It is advertising several positions and always seems to have a lot of jobs open. The high turnover is a danger sign to me.

Can anyone tell me why this place would be a good place to work? And what kind of people it is looking for?

It's a virtual revolving door. Most people are let go at the end of their contracts so they don't have to give raises, the others move on. They take themselves SOOOOOOOO seriously there, but no one else in the market does. The ratings are a joke and their newscasts are a good place for a good hardly laugh. If you want an on-air position there, be female, be under 25 and be just a bit clueless.
