WYOU/22 is the #3 CBS affiliate. Ch 22 was bought out by Nexstar, owner of the WBRE/28, the NBC affiliate, a few years back, and the station's news operation was moved to Wilkes-Barre and merged with WYOU in a "shared services operation." The look and talent, etc., is the same but some reports and video are shared and 22 is now being marketed as a Lackawanna County (Scranton) news source. WNEP/16, the ABC affiliate, leads the market. It's a good station. Their website reflects their strong brand and creativity.
