Subject: Air Corps Commendation Medal Award

For outstanding performance during engagment with the enemy, I here by award Major Shadow the Air Corps Commendation Medal. While fighting against the Germans during a routine Escort Duty, Major Shadow, at risk of his own life, fell in behind an enemy fighter that was targeting his Executive Officer who was in a shot up aircraft and personally injured. After close combat dog fighting, Major Shadow destroyed the German fighter and returned to pull another enemy fighter off the XO's damamged aircraft. For outstanding effort I award him this medal on 990522.
