This show did not fail to impress. It was actually fucking amazing.
Dwarf Antidote were simply fantastic, it was just a shame they were on first and didn't get longer to play some of that Prog Thrash style ;) Red Lights Flash were just fantastic. Five Knuckle just rocked hard as well.
The only let down of the gig, was far too many kids, with attitude's and something to prove. It just seemed like so many kids must stand there in their bed rooms and practice dance moves of tough guys in white vests. There were kids doing fucking windmills, and there is just no need for it. It wasn't a UKHC show.
I am not knocking Hardcore. That would be stupid since I listen to it. In a few weeks, Arkangel are playing with 50 Caliber, and Eviscerate AD and I will go. People there will dance, and damn hard at that. But that is where it belongs, that is a part of their scene.
All these other "Punk Rockers" ranting about Unity, and tightness within the Punk Rock scene, what the fuck are they talking about as well when they are swinging fists over their heads, totally blind to what is going on, with their back to the stage, and in no way paying any attention to the band.
I did not mean this to be an essay, or a preach. It is just a shame, to be dancing to a band, and have some little fuck blindly run into you, and start pulling you around, or people are watching a band and some cunt grabs them and throws them in the crowd, just for the sake of it.
