I liked this poem. It made me smile and reminded me of my poem Sunlight.

>The sun shone high
>with the strength of a thousand
>bulldozers
>pulling big bundles of hay
>and all the earth felt the rays
>heating them hotter and hotter
>with warmth
>till all felt happy
>
>Birds flew fast
>upon the sky
>with wings
>of all colors
>red
>blue
>some
>yellow
>
>While crickets
>sang lonely songs
>since
>for some reason
>they love
>them
>bot being very good
>at knowing what is
>a good song
>and what isn’t
>so they resorted
>to rubbing their legs
>together
>
>The sun saw this,
>stretched
>continued his journey
>across blue open skies
>
>The birds could not fly
>that high
>so the sun
>mainly had
>the whole place to himself
>flying
>carefree
>in the blue open
>spaces
>
>A few clouds noticed him
>they really could not help not
>since he was above them
>immense
>the size of at least
>two them
>
>They traveled faster
>to get out of his way
>and he shone and shone
>all the birds smiled
>and we’re happy
