Subject: Magic is the best (to be continued) Author: Lexi [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 12:48:21 07/18/02 Thu MAGIC IS THE BEST CHAPTER 1 “Hurry up Gus, We won’t have time for Mum to read our new book called ‘Magic is the best’.” “Ok” said Gus, “But I am just getting my pyjamas.” Liam said. “I am wearing my new pyjamas that we got earlier today. What pattern did your pyjamas have on again?” said Gus. “I got the same as you don’t you remember the Scooby Scooby Doo?” “Oh yes! I remember now. I’m dressed now.” “And so am I.” We ran up stairs into our bed, ready for my mum to read our new story. “I can’t wait, because I love magic stories,” said Liam. “And so do.” I replied Gus. When we got in bed our mum came soon after the story went like this. Chapter 2 Suddenly the wand fell out of Bumbledore’s hand and he opened his mouth in amazement as he looked. Laura was flying around the room very fast – but upside down! “Turn the broomstick the other way round quick!” Screamed Katie. “How do I do that?” yelled Laura. Laura looked terrified as she clung on to her broomstick, which almost hit Bumbledore. “Use your wand and do a spell. Quick!” replied Katie. Laura got out her wand and mumbled the spell but instead of turning around the right way, the broomstick turned into a roller coaster ride! Now she was even more terrified because she had no control at all. “Oh no.” Thought Katie. “She mumbled again. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.” Just then Bumbledore stood up. Chapter 3 Bumbledore turned his wand round and round and said the spell to make everything go right. Cassie and Katherine stamped their feet in anger and walked out. Katie smiled as she watched Laura land safely. Laura was wobbling all over the place and still feeling very dizzy. “Oh my.” she said “Oh my. I never want to go on a roller coaster again! I think I have learnt my lesson Professor Bumbledore and I won’t mumble again. I will try and speak clearly.” Bumbledore said “You had better learn your spells as well for the big test tomorrow.” “Oh no. I forgot. Not that test again.” Cried Laura  “I think Laura did the right spell but Cassie and Katherine did something to make it go wrong. They were enjoying it and were not happy at the end when you were ok.” Chapter 4 When the little witches got their test results back they could not believe their eyes. Laura had come first. with a 100% In the end the worst witch was the best witch!
