Could it be that here in this new land, I shall find what I seek? Will the inexonarble turn of time reveal what it is I so dearly miss and desire? I know not what this is, but I shall endeavour to discover all.

The elegant silver dame steps forth into clear view, the monlight playing with the faint dapples of her light grey coat. A single scar, rough and jagged, plucks frretfully at the ajoining skin of her otherwise sleek chest.

Her luminous gaze stares inwards, although her keen senses are ready to pick up any threat.

What woudl pose a threat to this one? She is fully mature. No stallion would wish a beauty such as her any real harm. SHe has much experience of leadership, and of battle. Perhaps she was not of the US, but yet her battle skills were sharp, if seldom used.

name: Dissidence, age: 6, lineage: unknown (breed is mostly arabian), visual identity, ooc contact: aim: snippetchick, msn:snippetchick@hotmail.com ooc alias: CEara and the keyword: I waddle around aimlessly. And impress us with a great entry/arrival post: mreh. its short, but I have a lecture to get to. You've seen what I can do, so that ought be enough for ye.

o! also, Dissy gonna be lead with cataclysm, wherever he is. I dont have the time to look around right now :( I'm really really running late!

IF you want an old example post, look below here:

Her darkened lids lower as she blink in surprise, her words coming slightly clipped as she peaks to her gentle compatriot.

You? pitiful? scrawny? weak? I think not... those who have named you so lacked vision, for you have much strength that is hidden from the casual viewer. It is unwise to take mercy and kindness for weakness...

So yes, I would agree... those days are over indeed.

Her words are interrupted by the arrival of her king, and so she hears his words, and replies to him. He was an able leader, if not the most likeable of characters, too busy with dealing with the enormous task of managing such a large and busy harem to waste time with pointless pleasantries ... but she gave him much respect for his immense wisdom and leadership ability, as well as for his gentle nature which he tried so hard to overcome.

My King... I would be pleased if on our next mission, Cerulean accompainies me - although I must agree that now perhaps, there may be too much unrest for me to leave. If there is a war, I must be here to aid in the direction of ur forces, and lend my hooves and teeth to our cause.

When the time is ripe however, I would greatly desire to journey to other lands and work in the business of creating alliances.

I have heard tell that The Hawks are allied with the Amazons, talk that fills me with undeniable unease.

The forces are gathering, and we are still far weaker than we should rightly be.

She paws at the soil nervously, her hooves picking up the tiny particles and dispelling them carelessly. She was more worried than she was willing to show either of these two. As of late, a cold chill had gripped her heart. The talk of dying for ones nation filled her with foreboding. She had heard such utterances before.

Her head bows, and she speaks, her gaze lowered, verses of poetry springing from her lips.

Bent double, like old beggars under sacks,

Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge,

Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs,

And towards our distant rest began to trudge.

Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots,

But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame, all blind;

Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots

Of gas-shells dropping softly behind.

Gas! GAS! Quick, boys! -- An ecstasy of fumbling

Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time,

But someone still was yelling out and stumbling

And flound'ring like a man in fire or lime. --

Dim through the misty panes and thick green light,

As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

In all my dreams before my helpless sight

He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning.

If in some smothering dreams, you too could pace

Behind the wagon that we flung him in,

And watch the white eyes writhing in his face,

His hanging face, like a devil's sick of sin,

If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood

Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs

Bitter as the cud

Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues, --

My friend, you would not tell with such high zest

To children ardent for some desperate glory,

The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est

Pro patria mori.

-Wilfred Owen

Dulce et decorum est

Pro patria mori.

It is good and fitting to die for one's country.

What a foul taste these words leave in my mouth. I will not die for my land, no matter how much I love it.

I will not see it enslaved by those who would commit altruistic suicide for our benefit, when it is far better to stand and FIGHT!

That is what I shall do - I have had my taste of dying for ones country. I died many a death in the past through the death of others.

We shall triumph.

My lord, I beg for you to create an arena for those of Gullshore to mock with one another, aside from the elite.

I heard what you had to say, and I agree. We are weak, far too weak. The time for introductions and bonding is over. We are united enough for our purpose.. now it is time to learn and fight!

Her words rise in volume to a cresendo, until her last words can be heard by all the the territory who have the ears to listen.

((I hope that the above post sufficies as a measure of my abilities, although it's not as pretty as some of what I have written, it does give an indication of dissys personality))
