Longlegs sat on a boulder, shielding his eyes from the cold, sleeting rain. He was soaked to the skin, cold, and miserable. The hare's tunic clung to him wetly and the chain-link belts chinked softly as he shifted his position. He muttered darkly, hazel eyes reflecting the clouded skies above. The news of advancing vermin had disturbed him, and he had called upon some friends to rally troops to his mountain. And there he sat, waiting for some response. It was getting even darker, as the day was snuffed out by the oncoming night. Waiting...
