Brave
If I never woke up,
Just lying there in bed,
Or maybe on the floor
With a pillow covering my head.
Would you come to my funeral?
Would you visit my grave?
And if before I died
I told you not to cry.
Would you be brave?
Would you be all right?
What if I told you
It was all a dream,
That we would wake up soon
And nothing would be, as it would seem.
And if before we were to wake up
I told you to be ready for what
Was coming and to never give up.
Would you be brave?
Would you be all right?
Would you try your hardest to survive.
But I ask you now are you ready for the future.
To go through life with a smile.
I may not die any time soon
And life may not be a dream,
But the future is a fate
That you can not deny.
So are you ready for what�s to come.
Will you be brave?
Will you be all right?
Will you learn to survive?
