Date Posted: 13:37:56 07/18/04 Sun Seeing as I have enough OF on my roster to fill my entire entire starting lineup, I'd like to move a few of them at the right price. -Mark Kotsay. 29 y/o $3M thru 07. 62-56-56. Kotsay is a career .761 OPS CF with good speed and defense. He's been miscast as a leadoff hitter for most of his career, but lineup expirementation led to a major boost in his stats when batting in non-leadoff situations, which doesnt show due to the number of games he batted leadoff anyway, and a dismal first half. 38 doubles, 21 HR and 45 SB last season. Consider that Texas just signed Luis Matos, a slightly statistically inferior player to a 6.25 million dollar contract. -Jose Guillen, a typical 50-72-59 28 y/o OF who in limited action in the league has hit .300+ from both sides of the plate. At only 500k thru 08, a bargain player. Chris Latham, a 73 SP OF who also hit .370 off the bench last year, .479 v lefties, might be available as well. Making 400k thru 06. If you have any interest in aquiring these fine ballplayers, I'm looking for relief pitchers, or draft picks ranging from low 2nd to bottom 1st. Taking back equivalent salary is NOT an issue or problem. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
