Subject: Red Birds Have Excess of RP and OF, need draft picks or 3B

As it stands now, I'm heading into the season with no legitimate third-sacker and a little too many guys in the pen. I also would like to have more draft picks, but have 7 major-league ready OFs, six under long-term contracts, when I only need 5.

If anyone has a 3B or draft picks they could part with (any round is fine), or needs bullpen help, feel free to try to swing a deal with me. Depending on what you're offering, I have some back-of-the-bullpen guys I'd part with easily, but I also have guys like Mecir, Matthews, Bailey, or even Guardado, that I could let go in the right deal.

All of these relievers, with the possible exception of Mecir, make less than you'd have to pay for their equivalent on the market this year, so step on up!

Also, I'm willing to deal any OF on my team except Christensen. That means that given the right offer, I would part with Matsui, Gomes, or Gerut, among others.

So drop me an IM if you're interested in any of this...no deal is too small or too large for my ears.
