Date Posted: 02:23:16 05/01/05 Sun Two great players available. Bonds had an amazing spring and is ready to play some ball. He's in the last year of his contract. Now rated 71 92 40. One of the games better hitters with 20 yrs of experience. Chen had another wonderful campaign last yr and is signed at a very reasonable 14.25 mil until 2009. With players going for 25 mil this year you can save 10 mil. 44-12 w/ a career 2.52 ERA. 15-5 w/ a 1.59 ERA last yr. Had a very solid spring and is ready to do it again this year.
